OUTINGS & SPENDING MONEY
|

|
Overnight Campers
There will be time to shop in the baseball card shops and
baseball memorabilia stores in Cooperstown. $60 - $75 per week should be ample unless the
camper anticipates purchasing more expensive items in Cooperstown. We encourage campers to
wait until their parents arrive on Friday to purchase more costly items. Please be sure
any purchasing restrictions or guidelines are understood by the camper.
NOTE: We have an excellent reputation in Cooperstown.
Our campers, who are always polite and well-behaved, are rewarded for this by
receiving 10% discounts at several of the memorabilia stores in the Village.
We recommend that the money be secured with the Camp
Director at check-in and disbursed in small amounts as desired. |

Please be
sure you understand our refund policy before registering your child. Our camp is
very small. Because of this, we must fill all the slots and we are unable to be
flexible about our refunds. |
The $100 application fee is
non-refundable and non-transferable.
Any additional tuition money paid is
refundable upon written request up to 30 days prior to the campers scheduled
arrival.
Less than 30 days prior to the
campers scheduled arrival, the remainder of the tuition is non-refundable except in
the case of death of the camper or an immediate family member.
In the event that a camper is unable to
attend for medical reasons, the remainder of the tuition is transferable to another
session in the campers name and may be used within the next 2 years. A doctors written explanation is required.
In the event a camper must leave camp early for medical reasons, any
unused time can be credited in the camper's name within the next 2 years.
Any camper found to be a severe behavioral problem or found damaging
property will be immediately dismissed with no refund or credit for lost time. All
damages will be paid for by the camper. |
DIRECTORS NOTE
|
Just down the road from us, in the
year of 1839 in a cow field in the village of Cooperstown, it is said that Abner Doubleday
invented the game we call Baseball. It has become our national pastime and for many,
our personal passion.
I grew up loving baseball, going to Fenway with my Dad, attaching
cards with clothespins to the spokes of my bike, playing on a vacant lot with the
neighborhood kids. We set up our camp for other kids who love baseball - not just the
stats and the stars - but the game itself.
Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions or
concerns that you may have about our program.
